Monetary base in Armenia shrank by over 9.1 billion drams or 1.5% in May

YEREVAN, June 2. /ARKA/. Monetary base in Armenia shrank by over 9.1 billion drams or 1.5% in May as opposed to the previous month of April to about 580.3 billion drams, according to the data published on the website of the Central Bank.

It said cash outside the Central Bank of Armenia totaled nearly 335.8 billion drams contracting by one billion or 0.4% from April.

Net international reserves (without privatization funds) in late May amounted to around 367.9 billion drams, a 2.5% (9 billion) increase from April. ($1- 418,01 драма).–0—
