Average interest rates on deposits in Armenia dive 0.1 p.p. to 8%

YEREVAN, July 13. /ARKA/. The average interest rates on deposits in Armenia shrank by 0.1 p.p. to 8% in May from April, according to the data available on the Central Bank’s official website.
The average interest rate on short-term deposits in Armenian drams climbed by 0.2 p.p. to 9.5%, and in foreign currency it advanced by 0.6 p.p. to 5%  within the reported period, the source shows.

At the same time, the average interest rate on long-term deposits in drams dropped by 0.6 p.p. to 10.8%, and in foreign currency- also by 0.6 p.p. to 6.6%. ($1- 413.50 drams). —0-
