June’s mortgage loans total AMD 120.7 bln in Armenia

YEREVAN, August 10. /ARKA/. Mortgage loans allocated by the commercial banks of Armenia in June jumped by 3.3% to 120.7 billion drams from May, according to the data available on Armenian Central Bank’s website.

Mortgage loans in drams totaled 61.8 billion drams ( 1.1% rise from May), and in foreign currency- 58.9 billion drams (5.8% growth from a month earlier).

Mortgage loans made up 8.5% in the total credit portfolio of Armenia’s banks.

Armenia’s commercial banks invested total of 1 418,1 billion drams in resident’s economy in June which is 3.3% higher from May.
