Armenia’s CB July’s net domestic assets surge 16.6% to amd 230.4 bln

YEREVAN, September 10. /ARKA/. The Central bank of Armenia said Monday its July’s net domestic assets increased by 16.6% from June to 230.4 billion drams.

According to the data, government’s liabilities to the Central Bank within the reported period amounted to minus 87.7 billion drams against minus 94.1 billion drams. Liabilities of the commercial banks to the Central Bank rose by 18.2% in July to over 128.4 billion drams, and other liabilities advanced by 2.1% to nearly 189.7 billion drams.

According to the report, the net international reserves in July climbed by 1.2% to nearly 370.6
billion drams within the reported period, and the monetary base rose by 6.6% in July from June to about 601.1 billion drams. ($1-412.02 drams).—0-
