Armenian insurance companies’ 2Q total liabilities up 30% to AMD 25.2 bln

YEREVAN, September 13. /ARKA/. As of June 30 the total liabilities of Armenia’s second-quarter insurance companies advanced by 30% to nearly 25.2 billion drams.

According to the interim financial reports of the insurance companies, Ingo Armenia is atop the list in total liabilities index- over 7.9 billion drams ( 31.6% up in the second quarter, 31.3% of the total insurance liabilities in Armenia).

Top five companies in this context are Rosgosstrakh- Armenia- over 6.3 billion drams (24.8% share), Reso- over 3.9 billion drams (15.6% share), Nairi Insurance- over 3 billion drams (11.9% share) and Garant- Limens – over 2 billion drams ( 8% share). These five companies have 91.6% of the total liabilities.

As of June 30, 2012 there are 7 insurance companies in Armenia. ($1 – 410.83 drams).—0-

The net inflow of cross-border remittances to individuals in Armenia, received from abroad through the Armenian banking system, amounted to $1.32 billion in January-November 2025, compared to $1.12 billion in January-November 2024, according to a report from the Central Bank.
