Overdue credit investments of Armenia’s Banks down 5.3% to AMD 11.8 bln late October

YEREVAN, December 12. /ARKA/. Overdue credit investments of the Armenian banks at the end of October slashed by 5.3% from September to 11.8 billion drams, the Central Bank of Armenia said in its monthly information bulletin for October 2012.

It said the share of overdue credits in total credit investments accounted for 0.8% in late October.
Short-term overdue credit investments dropped to over 11.6 billion drams versus 12.4 billion from September, and long-term ones rose to 182 million drams against 118 million respectively.
Time credit investment rose by 0.6% in October from September to 1487,6 billion drams, or 97.5% of all credit investments.

Prolonged credit investments tumbled by 11.4% to 26.9 billion drams, making up 1.8% of all credit investments.

The combined volume of credit investments of Armenian commercial banks stood at nearly 1526,4 billion drams late October versus 1520,7 billion drams in September. Short-term lending accounted for 23.9 % of all loans and long-term lending for 76.1%. ($1 – 406.76 drams). -0-
