Aggregate external liabilities of Armenian Central Bank drop by 4.6 percent in October to $727.9 million

YEREVAN, December 18. / ARKA/. The aggregate external liabilities of Armenia’s Central Bank decreased by 4.6% in October when compared to the beginning of the year to $727.9 million, according to a statement posted on its official website.

The bulk of the external debt- 64.4% or $ 469.1 million- was owed to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), down 10.4% from the beginning of the year.

In October the Central Bank  placed also $135.6 million worth SDR (down from the beginning of the year by 0.65%) and $122.8 million in other loans (up 20.5%). Other foreign liabilities of the Central Bank stood at $0.4 million (down 50%). ($ 1-407.34 drams).  -0-
