Private transfers to armenia up 10.9% to $83.2 mln in January

YEREVAN, March 11./ARKA/. Private transfers to individuals in Armenia for non-commercial purposes rose by 10.9% to over $83.2 million in January 2013 compared to the same month a year earlier, the Central Bank of Armenia reported.

Transfers from Armenia abroad totaled $20.6 million in January 2013 versus $15.7 in January 2012. Net inflows stood at $62.5 versus nearly $59.2 million within the reported period.

The highest inflow was registered to come from Russia (nearly $54.9 million). ($1 – 410.58 drams). –0-
