British offshore areas capitulate against EU tax authorities

YEREVAN, My 7./ARKA/. The British offshore territories agreed to reveal part of data about the account holders at their banks, The Treasury of the United Kingdom reported, BBC said.

Among these territories are the British Virgin Islands, Bermuda, The Cayman Islands, Montserrat and Anguilla, rbc.ru reported.

Thus, London can now request personal data about the account holders. This information will also be available for the authorities of France, Germany, Italy and Spain.

Earlier, the analogical agreement was reached with Channel Islands (Jersey, Guernsey) and Isle of Man in the Irish sea.—0-
