Total investments in government bonds rise 1% to AMD 252.3bln

YEREVAN, June 11. /ARKA/. Total investments in government bonds rose by 1% in April compared to March and amounted to 252.3 billion drams, the monthly bulleting of the Central Bank of Armenia for April says.

Resident investments in government bonds grew by 1% to 252.3bln drams in April against March, according to the report.
Armenian banks’ investments in government bonds dropped by 11.6% to 122.1bln drams over the reporting month; investments of the Central Bank in government bonds totaled 103.9bln drams, an increase of 18.6%.

Non-banking agents and dealers invested a total of about 1.7bln drams in government bonds in April; investments of non-banking investors were 23.8bln drams (1.9% increase). ($1=413.06drams). –0–
