Lending to investment companies hit AMD 21.4bln in Armenia in April

YEREVAN, June 21./ARKA/. Lending to investment companies by the commercial banks of Armenia fell by 0.9% in April from March hitting 21.4 billion drams, the Central Bank said in its newsletter.

Lending in Armenian drams rose by 1% in April month over month to nearly 18.7 billion drams, whereas loans in foreign currencies downed by 0.3% to over 2.6 billion drams.
As of 30 April 2013, there are 21 commercial banks in Armenia. ($1 – 410.41 drams).  —0-
