Armenia’s monetary base drops 1.4% down to 722.5 bln drams in September

YEREVAN, October 31. /ARKA/. Armenia’s monetary base has dropped by 1.4% to AMD 722.5 billion in September, ArmState reported.

Cash outside the central bank totaled over AMD 408 billion in September, as compared to over AMD 410.6 billion in August.

Mandatory reserves in drams exceeded AMD181.9 billion (0.4% increase); those in foreign currency amounted to over AMD 128.47 billion (7.3% reduction).

Net international reserves (without funds from privatization) reached about AMD 678.9 billion by the end of September, an increase of 59% compared to August.

Net internal assets exceeded AMD 43 billion in the period against over AMD 306 billion in August. ($1= AMD 405.3). -0–
