Households’ deposits in Armenia’s grow 15% to AMD 734.4 billion

YEREVAN, November 7. /ARKA/. Households’ deposits in Armenia’s banks totaled over AMD 734.4 billion in late September after growing 15% since the beginning of this year, the Central Bank of Armenia reports on its official website.

Their deposits in drams grew 17.6% to AMD 232.1 billion, and deposits in foreign currencies grew 13.9% to AMD 502.6 billion.

Aggregate deposits in Armenian banks amounted to AMD 1446.9 billion in late September after growing 16.1% since the beginning of this year. Residents’ deposits amounted to AMD 1087.9 billion (14.2% growth). M.V. —-0—-
