Number of Armenian bank branches rose to 484 at end Q3

YEREVAN, November 21. /ARKA/. Number of branches of Armenia’s banks reached 484 as of the end of the third quarter 2013, which is 6 more than in Q2.

Number of bank branch offices was 465 as of the end of the first quarter and 478 in the second quarter.

Two out of 21 commercial banks operating Armenia, Amrswissbank and Bank Mellat, do not have branches.

An analysis by ARKA showed Bank VTB (Armenia) is the leader in number of branches with its 67 office as of the end of Q3. The bank has 125 ATMs.

Ardshininvestbank is the second with 55 branch offices and 92 ATMs as of the end of September.
Araratbank comes third with 47 branches and 75 ATMs. –0–
