Armenian Central Bank’s total external liabilities drop by 4.9 percent from beginning of year to $695.8 million

YEREVAN, December 10. / ARKA /. Armenian Central Bank’s total external liabilities dropped by 4.9 percent from the beginning of the year to $695.8 million as of late October, the regulator said in its monthly bulletin.

The bulk of the debt – 67.2 % or $416 million- were owed to the International Monetary Fund (IMF). This amount was 10.5 percent down compared to the start of the year.

SDR liabilities were said to have grown to $135.4 million from $135.2 million at the end of 2012.
The amount of other loans increased by 9.2% to $144 million, while other liabilities surged by almost 67 percent to $500,000. ($1 – 406.80 drams). .-0-
