Number of transactions by bank VTB (Armenia) clients via VTB Group ATM system tripled

YEREVAN, December 17. /ARKA/. Number of transactions carried out by clients of Bank VTB (Armenia) through unified VTB Group ATM network has tripled since June 2011 when the bank joined the network and reached 31,550 transactions worth a total of $5,148,022, the press office of the bank reported.

The highest number of transactions was effected in the period via ATMs in Russia, i.e. 27,730 transactions worth a total of $4,429,242. Ukraine is the second with 1,780 transactions and a total of $285,552.

Since June 2011 Bank VTB (Armenia) has been offering its VISA Gold, VISA Business and VISA Platinum card holders a unique opportunity to get cash via over 7,000 ATMs in VTB Group affiliated banks in CIS countries (Armenia, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan) and in Georgia at same prices as in Bank VTB (Armenia).

Geolocation service available on the bank’s website can help clients pick up a convenient ATM in CIS and Georgia. The interactive map is accessible also from mobile phones at Apple Store and Android Market.

Apart from this, the unified ATM network enables the bank offering VTB World package for travelers that includes a Visa Classic free debit card (0% commission for cashing money from over 7,000 ATMs in CIS and Georgia) and a free VTB-Transfer card for instantaneous money transfers (ref. phone number at the bank 87-87).

The VTB World package is a unique product on the Armenian banking market. It also includes health insurance, luggage insurance and SMS banking to check the balance.

The unified network allows the bank offering its clients a simple and convenient service of accessing their funds during vacation or a business trip, general director and chairman of board of Bank VTB (Armenia) Yury Gusev said.

Bank VTB (Armenia) closed joint stock company became a member of VTB financial group in April 2004. The second biggest Russian bank, Bank VTB ojsc is now the full owner of Bank VTB (Armenia). The bank is among leaders of Armenian banking system in a number of basic indicators. It currently has the biggest network in Armenia – 67 branch offices across the country.  –0—
