VTB bank (Armenia) stages festive concert for children with cancer

YEREVAN, June 4. / ARKA /. In connection with the International Children’s Day on June 1 the VTB Bank (Armenia) staged a festive concert at Muratsan Hospital in Yerevan for children with cancer.

Cartoon characters, clowns, magicians and jugglers entertained the children, inviting them to participate in various games and competitions. At the end of the event, all the children were given gifts and balloons with leaflets carrying their wishes were released into the sky.

VTB Bank (Armenia) handed also kitchen utensils and cookware to the hospital to facilitate the stay of children during the treatment course.

About 100 children are diagnosed a year in Armenia with cancer and fortunately, thanks to modern medical techniques, 70% of them are cured living a full life, Samvel Danielyan, head of chemotherapy department, told ARKA,
