YEREVAN, December 8. /ARKA/. No conditions exist yet to discuss common Eurasian Economic Union currency, member of the board on key integration directions and macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission Tatyana Valovaya told journalists on Friday.
It is more important now to discuss coordinated efforts in the financial markets to create a common EEU financial market by 2025, Valovaya said.
She also said the member-countries are studying the respective European experience “not to repeat mistakes”.
On December 4, Armenia’s parliament ratified the agreement about joining the EEU.
The agreement was signed on October 10 and will come into effect on January 1, 2015. –0–
