Armenian regulator warns people against dealing with ross group company

YEREVAN, March 20. /ARKA/. The Central Bank of Armenia warns Armenian citizens against dealing with Ross Group Company, which offers assistance in repayment of loans, the regulator’s press office reported on Friday.

The company’s statement ‘Let’s Repay Your Loans Together’ and similar offers are being spread now in some public places.

The central bank looked through the statements along with the contract offered to clients, where the company promises to assume clients’ loan repayment obligation for 20to 30 percent of the repaid amount, and has come to conclusion that the company’s ‘services’ contain elements of fraud and threaten people with money loss, illegal transfer of personal data and difficulties in protection of their rights.

«Guided by the necessity of protection of consumers, the central bank warns citizens against the above mentioned risks and calls on them to refrain from such deals and cooperation with the company,» the regulator says in its statement. –0–
