Armenian finance ministry buys back mid-and long-term government bonds

YEREVAN, March 26. / ARKA /. Armenia’s ministry of finance said it has conducted an auction today to buy back 500 million drams worth mid-term government (treasury) bonds of AMGN60294174 issue.

According to the Central Bank, five dealers who took part in the auction submitted over 2 billion dram worth bids. It said the government paid 498.4 million drams to buy back the bonds with 13.6800% yield.

The ministry of finance conducted also another auction to buy back 500 million drams worth long-term government bonds of AMGB20072283 issue.

It said one dealer took part in the auction having submitted a 430 million dram worth bid. The government paid 374.155 million drams to buy back the bonds with 12.9000% yield.-0-
