Armenian government should promote effective demand – newspaper

YEREVAN, July 9. /ARKA/. The main aim of the Armenian government in the current situation is to promote effective demand, economist and member of parliament from Prosperous Armenia Party Mikael Melkumyan said in his interview to Hayots Ashkharh (Armenian World) newspaper.

According to the newspaper, the Armenian government has lowered its expectations, envisaging a 1% GDP growth in the mid-term spending program, as compared to 4.1% growth under the budget.
