$77.9 million bought by commercial banks at Armenia’s intra-bank Forex Market last week

YEREVAN, July 14. /ARKA/. Commercial banks bought $77.9 million at Armenia’s intra-bank forex market over a period between July 6 and 10 at AMD 473.78 drams per one dollar, the press office of the Central Bank of Armenia reports.

They also bought here €8.6 million and 1.1 billion Russian rubles at 522.95 drams per one Euro and 8.32 drams per one Russian ruble, on average.

According to the report, $74 million, €15 million and 243.6 million rubles were sold at the intra-bank market over the mentioned period at 475.76 drams, 526.91 drams and 8.47 drams respectively.

The loans extended by Armenian banks in drams totaled $34.3 billion at a period between June 29 and July 5, and lending in dollars amounted to $34.9 million. ($1 – AMD 477.18). –0–
