About $86 million bought by commercial banks at Armenia’s intra-banking forex market

YEREVAN, August 10. /ARKA/. Commercial banks bought about $86 million at 477.53 drams per one dollar at Armenia’s intra-banking foreign exchange market over the period between August 3 and 7, the press office of the Central Bank of Armenia reports.

They also bought €6.7 million and about 924.2 million Russian rubles in the mentioned period at 521.57 drams and 7.53 drams respectively.

Commercial banks sold $99.5 million, €12.4 million and about 307.5 million rubles at the intra-banking forex market over the same period at 478.83 drams, 525.32 drams and 7.71 drams respectively.

The loans extended by Armenia’s commercial banks in drams amounted to 39.3 billion drams, and dollar loans totaled $106.6 million in the period between July 27 and August 2. ($1 – AMD 478.29). –0–
