Armenian regulator announces two auctions to sell short-term government bonds

YEREVAN, September 3. /ARKA/. The Central Bank of Armenia announced today two auctions to sell at each auction short-term government bonds worth 500 million.

The regulator says AMGT52059167 and AMGT26283166 short-term bonds will be offered at the auctions.

The dealers chosen by the Armenian finance ministry who act on their own behalf and their own expense or those acting on their own behalf, but at the account of their investors, as well as Treasury Depository may take part in the auctions.

According to the central bank’s report, the ceiling of the Treasury Depository’s noncompetitive bids is 10% of the total amount of the emission, while dealers’ bids must not exceed 20%.

It means the total amount of bids at the auctions will be no more than 30% of the issue.
One bid from an investor made via the Depository is not limited.

Minimum demand is AMD 10,000 and one step at the auctions is AMD 1,000.
The auctions are scheduled for September 7 and 28 at 10:30. ($1 – AMD 484.4). —-0—
