Central Bank of Armenia and National Bank of Belgium to deepen ties

YEREVAN, October 27. / ARKA /. Mark Werlei  and Xavier Havian, two senior officials from the financial monitoring department of the Belgian National Bank, who are in Yerevan as part of partnership between the national banks of the two countries,  had in Yerevan a series of meetings with representatives of the financial monitoring, regulation of the financial system, financial system stability and economic studies departments of the Central Bank of Armenia, the latter reported today.

It said during a round table Armenian officials spoke about  the process of supervision and regulation of the national banking system.

The guests in their turn presented the experience of Belgium and the European countries in the field of financial monitoring and regulation. -0-
