Interbank lending in February surges by 67 percent year-on-year

YEREVAN, April 15. /ARKA/. The amount of interbank lending in February, including REPO transactions, surged by almost 67% from the year before to about 75 billion drams, according to the monthly bulletin of the Central Bank of Armenia for February 2016. In comparison with January interbank loans increased by 11.4%, it says.

Inter-bank loans in foreign currency totaled the equivalent of 31.7 billion drams, having decreased  by 25.4% from February 2015.

According to Central Bank data, the volume of interbank loans in drams amounted to about 43.3 billion, having increased by 18 times. ($ 1 – 483.03 drams). -0
