Common nominal stocks issued by “Unibank” ojsc placed at Nasdaq OMX Armenia

YEREVAN, April 21. /ARKA/. On April 21, 2016, placement of common nominal stocks (UNIB) by “UNIBANK” OJSC, started on April 20, 2016, took place at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange.

Some 22,704,347 common nominal stocks were fully placed, as a result of which the Bank attracted AMD 5,221,999,810. The price of a stock stood at AMD 230.

To recall, on December 18-24, 2015 another placement of UNIBANK’s additional shares took place at NASDAQ OMX Armenia through an IPO. During the placement some 10,672,471 common nominal stocks in the amount of AMD 2,454,668,330 were placed. The price of a stock stood at AMD 230.

Unibank was founded in October 2001. In 2002 it introduced Unistream system. Its only shareholder is Glover Holding LTD. In 2015 the Bank was reorganized into an open joint stock company. Today Unibank runs 45 branches providing services to over 300,000 customers.

The bank’s assets in 2015 stood at 158.5 billion drams; the liabilities – at 135.6 billion drams; the capital was worth 22.8 billion drams. Its credit investments stood at 110. 1 billion drams. In 2015 Unibank earned 493.2 million drams in net profit.

NASDAQ OMX Armenia is the only stock exchange currently operating in Armenia. On January 26, 2009, “Armenian Stock Exchange” ojsc was officially renamed as “NASDAQ OMX Armenia” ojsc. On June 5, 2009, “NASDAQ OMX Armenia” ojsc became the owner of 100% of the shares of the “Central Depository of Armenia” ojsc.-0-
