Central bank auctions 1.5 billion drams worth short-term bonds

YEREVAN, May 24. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Central Bank said today it had auctioned May 23 some 1.5 billion drams worth short-term government bonds of AMGT39202179 issue maturing in 39 weeks.

It said over 3 billion drams worth bids had been submitted, of which 2.841 billion drams worth bids were competitive.

The auction was attended by five dealers. The average weighted yield on a bond was 9.7572%; the cut-off point was 9.8550%. Profit after placement was 1,396,658,467 drams ($ 1 – 477.58 drams).  -0–
