Natalija Novta will become new IMF Resident Representative in Armenia

YEREVAN, April 29. /ARКА/. Natalija Novta will become the new IMF Resident Representative in Armenia in August, replacing Umang Rawat.

According to the press service of the Armenian government, Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan, meeting with Rawat, who is concluding his mission in the country, praised the effective and constructive cooperation between the IMF and Armenia, as well as the ongoing support provided in ensuring macroeconomic stability and implementing reforms.

Novta, who was present at the meeting, confirmed her readiness to devote her professional resources to further strengthening effective cooperation between Armenia and the IMF.

A wide range of issues related to Armenia’s macroeconomic development were discussed during the discussion.
