Overdue loans at Armenia’s banks shrink 0.6% in July 2016

YEREVA, September 1. /ARKA/. Overdue loans at Armenia’s banks shrank 0.6% in July 2016, compared with the previous month, to AMD 46.1 billion, the National Statistical Service reports.

Loans with short-term delay in repayment reduced 9.6% over one month to 20.8 billion, while loans with long-term delay grew 8.3% to 25.2 billion.

According to the statistical report, loans with prolonged terms shrank 3.6% to AMD 114.7 billion.

Credit exposure grew 0.3% to AMD 2 012.5 billion – loans in foreign currencies grew 0.7% to AMD 1 333.8 billion and in drams reduced by 0.4% to AMD 678.7 billion.

The aggregate loan portfolio of Armenia’s banks amounted to AMD 2 173.2 billion in late May (0.1% growth). ($1 – AMD 474.73). -0—-
