Gold buying price down 1.8 percent

YEREVAN, December 7, /ARKA/. The State Depository of Precious Stones and Metals Agency, an affiliation of Armenian Finance Ministry, set new prices for government agencies to buy and sell precious stones and metals which were effective from November 28 to December 4. The new prices were for one gram of chemically pure metals.

The gold was to be bought at 17,024.45 drams (-308.01 drams) and sold at 18,504.84 drams (-334.79 drams); silver was to be bought at 234.64 drams (-5.72 drams) and sold at 255.04 drams (-6.22 drams); platinum was to be bought at 13,107.95 drams (-144.99 drams) and sold at 14,247.77 drams (-157.06 drams) and palladium was to be bought at 10,355.81 drams (+357.67 drams) and sold at 11,256.31 drams (+388.77 drams).
