Average yield of Armenian Eurobonds sheds to 4.74% in October 2016

YEREVAN, December 9. /ARKA/. The average yield of Armenian Eurobonds shed to 4.74% in October 2016 from 4.85% in September 2016, the Central Bank of Armenia says in its monthly bulletin.

In October 2015, their average yield stood at 7.14%.

In May 2015, the yield of Armenian Eurobonds started growing. It reached 4.14% in October, but took a downward twist in the beginning of 2016 shedding 0.13 percentage points to 7.01% in January 2016 and to 4.85% by September.

Transactions with Eurobonds in Armenia totaled $6 million in October 2016 against $5 million in September 2016.

According to the central bank, the total amount of transactions with Armenian Eurobonds at secondary market was $58.12 million with 5.72% average yield.

The debut issue of Armenian Eurobonds totaling $700 million with a seven-year maturity term and 6% yield was carried out on Septemebr 19, 2013.

Its main underwriters were Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch, HSBC Bank plc and J.P.Morgan Securities plc. ($1 – AMD 482.84). –0—–
