Online mandatory insurance of vehicles available in Armenia

YEREVAN, November 1. /ARKA/. Armenian motorists are now able to conclude mandatory insurance of their vehicles with any insurance company online at a 5% discount on insurance premiums, the Bureau of Car Insurers of Armenia said today.

It descried the online conclusion of contracts as a simple process that takes 3-4 minutes only. The payment for the insurance policy is made by means of any payment card. Immediately after the conclusion of the contract, the insurance policy is sent to the e-mail of the policyholder.
The Bureau of Car Insurers said it is not necessary to have a paper copy of the insurance policy in one’s car.

To conclude an online contract one should go to the website of the Armenian Insurance Bureau at www.appa.am and enter the «Online conclusion of vehicle insurance contracts” section, or visit www.aswa.am or any official website of an insurance company.

In a couple of months the online insurers of vehicles will be able to make their payments through Telcel, EasyPay, MobiDram and Idram payment terminals, the Bureau of Car Insurers of Armenia said..
The mandatory insurance against physical damage caused to other cars and individuals became mandatory in the country on January 1, 2011. -0-
