February inflation in Armenia is 3.3 percent

YEREVAN, March 7. /ARKA/. Armenia’s consumer prices in February 2018 increased by 3.3% from 2017 February, according to the latest numbers, released today by the National Statistical Service (NSS).

It said prices for food products (including alcoholic beverages and tobacco products) increased by 4%, while prices for non-food products and services rose by 4.6% and 1.6%, respectively.

In February consumer prices fell by 0.5%, when compared with the previous month driven by a 1.2% drop in the prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages. The government’s inflation forecast for 2018 is 4% (± 1.5%). -0-
