Armenian Central Bank allows to use Russian Narodnaya payment and settlement system

YEREVAN, October 16. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Central Bank said today it has allowed to use the Russian Narodnaya (People’s) payment and settlement system for making transactions.

The Central Bank decided to include the payment and settlement system in the register of payment and settlement systems of Armenia, explaining that individuals can use the Russian system for making money transfers without having to open a bank account. More precisely, the Easy Pay payment and settlement organization has been given permission to participate in the Narodnaya system.

The Narodnaya payment and settlement system is a new, dynamically developing system registered by the Central Bank of Russia. The operating, payment, clearing and settlement center of the payment system is the Narodniy Bank of Russia. -0-
