Armenian banks’ lending surpasses for the first time 3 trillion drams

YEREVAN, December 4 / ARKA /. Armenian banks’ lending amounted to 3.022.1 trillion drams in late October, having increased by 34.8 billion drams or 1.16% from the previous month, the Central Bank said.

The amount of loans provided to residents stood at 2.799.4 trillion drams (an increase of 1.15%), with 1.229.9 trillion drams being loans in drams (an increase of 2.3%), and 1.569.4 trillion drams – in US dollars (an increase of 0.24%).

According to the Central Bank, loans issued by Armenian banks to corporate clients amounted to 1.540.8 trillion drams, to households – to 1.059.4 trillion drams, to companies not pursuing a profit – to 110.2 billion drams and to other financial organizations – to 88.7 billion drams.

In October, loans to non-residents amounted to 222.7 billion drams (an increase of 1.2%). ($1 – AMD 485.06). – 0—
