ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK enables holders of Arca, Visa and MasterCard banking cards to receive pin-codes via SMS

YEREVAN, March 7. /ARKA/. ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK said today that holders of ArCa, Visa and MasterCard banking cards can receive their PIN-codes via SMS.

The Bank said in a press release that this service can be used by both current and new cardholders. It said if the cardholder forgets the PIN code, he/she will not have to replace the card. Within minutes, they will be able to generate a new PIN-code through the bank’s ATMs. To change the PIN-code cardholders can visit the bank or call it.

“The code sent via SMS is a six-digit code for a one-time input. It serves for generation of a new PIN code when the card is used for the first time to make a transaction via ATM,” the message says.

ACBA was established in 1996 as part of EU’s TACIS program. As a result of a long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation between ACBA Bank and the French Credit Agricole the latter became the biggest shareholder of ACBA in 2006, September. ACBA was restructured, becoming a closed joint stock company and was renamed ACBA CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK.-0-
