SME Banking Club awards Unibank most innovative bank 2018 certificate

YEREVAN, May 21, /ARKA /. In the first quarter of 2019 Unibank provided about 8bln drams for financing entrepreneurship. The number of business loans issued during the reporting period, grew by 11% when compared with the same period last year, the bank said today in a news release.

It said the growth was driven by increased operational efficiency and the introduction of innovative solutions designed specifically to service SMEs.

Unibank has automated the processing of applications for unsecured loans, using a credit pipeline based on CRM system of Protobase Laboratories. The modular structure of the system can be customized for any task and set all the necessary features of the products.

“Modern technologies are changing the approach to financial solutions. The client needs to understand the specifics of his/her business and the ability of bank’s employees to make quick decisions,’ said David Petrosyan, Unibank Director of Corporate Business Development and Sales, during a discussion at the Caucasus SME Banking Club Conference 2019 conference.

“We are well aware of how business develops in this or that region of Armenia, and thanks to an individual approach, we correctly assess the potential and risks of enterprises.”

Today, when choosing a bank. the determining factors for SMEs are not only favorable terms, but also a flexible approach, minimum requirements and prompt decision-making.

“We work to save not only the time of our clients, but also their money. We know well the needs of each sector and can offer the most effective lending programs. Due to favorable terms, our products are available to a larger number of entrepreneurs, including in remote regions of the country. Unibank will continue to improve its banking services for entrepreneurs and introduce innovative technologies,” said David Petrosyan.

The Caucasus SME Banking Club Conference 2019 conference was held in Tbilisi, Georgia, on May 16-17. The participants discussed global trends and innovations in the SME financing segment. At the end of the conference, Unibank was chosen as one of the most innovative banks in 2018 and was awarded a SME Banking Club certificate.
