ACBA Leasing and GEFF program in Armenia cooperating for pure energy (VIDEO)

YEREVAN, August 21. /ARKA/. ACBA Leasing and the Green Economy Financing Facilities (GEFF) Program of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development are conducting a joint business event.

The press office of the ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK says in its press release that the aim of the event is to spur the development of renewable energy in Armenia and to inject the experience of more than 20 countries into Armenia.

As ACBA Leasing CEO Aghasi Gasparyan said, the company is always paying special attention to the development of renewable energy in Armenia.

“Being in tune to our sub-brand Green Leasing, we are always searching new opportunities and mechanisms trying not only to make pure energy sources widely available, but also to help our small and medium entrepreneurs use energy efficient equipment in their businesses and make additional saving,” he said.

Deputy Project Manager of GEFF in Armenia, Andro Butkhuzi said that deployment of ‘green’ technologies, particularly solar photo voltage stations and the produced results are visible in many Armenian businesses.

He said that partner organizations of ACBA Leasing have recorded a significant financial saving at a quite short period of time. They have also contributed to lessening emissions, and this open a gate for spreading all solutions in the renewable energy industry and the energy efficiency. Along with the participants of the event, successful partner companies attended it as well.

HAEKSHIR Company, a partner to ACBA Leasing, has already produced significant economic results over a short period of time.
“In January 2019, we created our solar plant as a result of our cooperation with ACBA Leasing,” said Asya Ghazaryan, a representative of HAEKSHIR. “Investments for creation of solar panels totaled around AMD 63 million, and I can say that we have saved around AMD 5 million over these seven months.”

ACBA Leasing and GEFF Program in Armenia have been cooperating since 2016 to promote energy efficiency programs in the country.

ACBA Leasing is a member of the financial group of ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK and is the absolute leader at Armenia’s leasing market.

ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK was established in 1996 as part of European Union’s TACIS program.
