Armenian central bank issues commemorative coin “The Year of Caucasian Leopard”

YEREVAN, October 2. /ARKA/. The Central Bank of Armenia has issued the commemorative coin “The Year of Caucasian Leopard”, the press office of the regulator reported on Wednesday.

The Armenian national emblem and the state sanctuary “Khasrov Forest” are depicted on the front side of the coin. On the other side of the coin, the Caucasus leopard in Khasrov Forest is depicted with the inscription “Panthera Pardus Ciscaucasica”.

As many as 700 coins are issued. The nominal cost of each coin is 1000 drams. The author of the sketch is Aram Urutyan. The coins were minted in the Netherlands. -0—
