Armenian banks have revised 200 billion drams worth loans

YEREVAN, March 27. /ARKA/. From March 20 to this day, Armenian banks have revised lending terms for 96,838 individuals and 3,395 legal entities, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said.

“In the vast majority of cases, banks have granted credit holidays, in some cases for several months.
The volume of revised loans is about 200 billion drams,” Pashinyan wrote on his Facebook page.

On March 16, the government of Armenian declared a 30-day state of emergency to fight the spread of coronavirus. According to the latest data, 329 cases of COVID-19 infection were recorded in the country, 28 people were said to have recovered and one patient, a 72 year-old woman died from the coronavirus.-0-
