Armenia’s 12-month inflation in April amounts to 6.2%

YEREVAN, May 7. /ARKA/. The 12-month inflation in Armenia’s consumer market in April 2021 amounted to 6.2%, according to the National Statistical Committee (NSC).

At the same time, according to the NSC, in April 2021 compared to March 2021  inflation was recorded at 1.3%. In  January-April 2021, compared to the same period in 2020, prices increased by 5.4%.

The government’s economic growth projection for 2021 is 3.2%, while inflation is set at 4% (± 1.5%). The Central Bank’s GDP growth forecast is 1.4%. -0-
