Twelve-month inflation in July 2021 in Armenia was 8.2%

YEREVAN, August 4. /ARKA/.  Armenia’s consumer price index in July 2021 was 8.2% up, when compared to July 2020, and 0.5% down compared to June 2021, the National Statistical Committee (NSC) said today.

According to it, the consumer price index in the first half of 2021 was 6.1% up from the same time span of 2020.

The initial government’s growth projection for 2021 was 3.2%, while the inflation is set at 4% (± 1.5%). In early July, acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said the growth forecast was revised upward to 6%. -0-
