Ostrich farm founded in Masis

YEREVAN, October 18, /ARKA/. Armenak Asatryan, who founded an ostrich farm in Masis, moved to Armenia 4 years ago. He started the farm after studying the international experience in this area.

The farm now has 100 ostriches. Their care starts from the incubator. It is Armenak who helps the little ostriches to come into the world. These fowls grow by 1 centimeter per day and gain 200 grams of weight.

It was Acba bank that believed in the perspective idea of creating an ostrich farm. The founder of the farm plans to launch new projects in the near future – starting a plant for the production of canned ostrich meat and a leather processing workshop.

“It’s not a kind of business that anyone can do. You have to love it, to invest a lot of money, and after investing money you have to wait for several years to see the outcome. Acba bank liked my idea, accepted my business plan and helped me,” says Armenak Asatryan, the founder of the Masis ostrich farm.
