Armenian banks issue 437 billion drams worth bonds

YEREVAN, November 5. /ARKA/. The amount of securities issued by Armenian banks as of late September 2021 was 437 billion drams, according to the Union of Banks of Armenia (UBA).

At the same time, the balance of bonds issued by banks in the reporting period increased by about 6 billion drams, or 1.4%.

“This testifies to the expanding diversification of banking instruments, which is a positive signal,” Arman Sargsyan, Deputy Executive Director of the UBA, said at a press conference on Friday ($ 1 – 476.22 drams). -0-
