VTB (Armenia) starts servicing Mir payment system’s cards

YEREVAN, April 27. /ARKA/. VTB (Armenia), a division of the Russian VTB Bank, said cardholders of the Russian Mir payment system have been able to withdraw cash from its ATMs starting from April, 2022.

The service is also available for cards of partner CIS payment systems, the press service of the bank said.

The commission for cash withdrawals from ATMs of VTB (Armenia) with Mir cards is set by the issuing banks. VTB charges no additional fees․ The Mir cardholders can check their account balance at any ATM of VTB (Armenia). VTB (Armenia) plans also to start issuing its own Mir cards in May.

VTB (Armenia) runs 210 ATMs across the country, more than any other bank, including 101 ATMs are in the capital Yerevan and 109 in the regions.

The activity of VTB Bank (Armenia) is regulated by the Central Bank of Armenia. -0-
