Russian BKS bank resumes money transfers in USD to Armenia

YEREVAN, November 28. /ARKA/. Russian BKS bank has resumed foreign currency transfers in U.S. dollars to Armenia, TASS news agency reported quoting the credit institution.

The BKS Bank said also that its clients can make money transfers in dirhams to relatives or third parties in the United Arab Emirates, Turkey and Azerbaijan.

The bank’s call center told TASS that money transfers were suspended on November 16 for technical reasons. The call center operator also added that only outgoing money transfers in US dollars from Russia to Armenia are available to BKS clients.

Earlier on November 16 BKS Bank announced the suspension of money transfers in euros and dollars to Turkey and Azerbaijan, for the reasons beyond its control, two days after launching money transfers to these countries. -0-
