VTB (Armenia) launches online lending

YEREVAN, June 13. /ARKA/. VTB (Armenia) has launched a new service for remote issuance of consumer loans. One can get a loan by filing an online application on the bank’s website without visiting a bank’s branch. The decision on the cash loan is made in seconds.

Online loan is available for a period of 1 to 5 years at an annual interest rate of 14.5% to 18% (effective interest rate is 19.6% – 22.7%). The minimum loan amount is 100,000 drams, the maximum is 10 million drams.

To apply for the loan remotely one should select “Online loan” section on the bank’s website and fill in the required fields: social card number, phone number, desired loan amount and loan repayment term. The loan is available to both current  VTB (Armenia) customers and new users – during the electronic application process they can instantly open a card and become a client of the bank.

“Consumer loans are one of the most popular products among the population of the country, so VTB (Armenia) decided, as part of the digital transformation, to launch their online issuance. The new program in our product line allows a customer to go through the process of applying for a loan in minutes, without leaving home. At the same time we took care that the process of filling in loan applications from smartphones or computers is simple and understandable for users, ” said Deputy CEO – Chairman of VTB (Armenia) Taras Kladchenko.

At all stages of remote issuance of consumer loans  biometric user identification, as well as SMS and mail verification are applied as security measures.
