Total volume of transactions at AMX in Q3 totaled AMD 58.9 billion

YEREVAN, December 6. /ARKA/. The total volume of transactions concluded at the Armenian Securities Exchange (AMX) in the third quarter of 2023 amounted to 58.9 billion drams, according to the National Statistical Committee.

It said in the first quarter of the current year 32.7 billion drams worth transactions had been concluded and 37.2 billion drams worth transactions had been concluded in the second quarter. In 2022 some 241.9 billion drams worth transactions had been concluded.

Of the total volume of transactions in the third quarter 2023 about 11.8 billion drams were repo deals, 640.9 million drams were equity deals, 37.4 billion drams were deals with government bonds, and 9.1 billion drams were deals with corporate bonds.

The National Statistical Committee said the total number of transactions at AMX during the reporting period grew to 1,559 compared to 1,345 in the first quarter, 1,678 in the second quarter and 7,733 in 2022.

The number of companies listed on AMX is 24 (26 in the first quarter, 24 in the second quarter and 28 in 2022). ($1 – 402.95 drams) -0-.
