Armenia plans to issue inflation linked government bonds (EXCLUSIVE)

YEREVAN, March 20. /ARKA/. The Armenian government intends to issue a special kind of bonds – inflation linked bonds, Director of the Armenian Stock Exchange Hayk Yeganian told ARKA news agency.

“These are bonds, the yield of which is linked to inflation,” he explained.

At the same time, Yeganyan noted that it is too early to talk about the volumes of the first issue and that this issue is under the jurisdiction of the Finance Ministry.

According to Yeganyan, the first issue is expected to take place already during 2025.
